Default Thoughts on these triple beam LED aftermarket headlights?

Looks like aftermarket headlights for the 2013-2015 GS finally exist, I think they look amazing and aren’t cheap looking. Love how the blacked out housing looks as well, would go perfect on my car. I had one concern though, these are on a GS from Japan which had triple beam headlights from factory and those headlights have a different harness. But the seller told me they work for monocular headlights and quoted me about $1,100 USD including shipping. Not gonna lie, if these work out and I put them on my GS, I would keep it for a very long time lol. Forget the RC, with these triple beams and adding CarPlay again, I’d just keep my GS forever tbh. Here’s a link to a YT vid of the headlights:

I don't know about you guys but I'm surprised and excited about these. This came outta nowhere, it's crazy to me that the 4th gen GS has been out for 10 years now and is just now getting aftermarket headlights for the first time.

They look cool but how do they perform.

U want an RC? U won't be happy with RC coming from a GS. I've had 2 of them before and they're a step down in basically everything except the nav system. Unless it's a V8 RCF, don't sacrifice the GS for one.

I test drove one, GS definitely has a better interior, as it should other than the steering wheel. But you make sacrifices for a coupe and I’m ok with it. If I can find one with the right spec with low miles I wouldn’t mind owning one eventually. Or if the 2019+ RC’s finally drop in price, those cars are stunning and pretty much have a future proof infotainment with CarPlay

Ask if they have Adaptive feature that works.

Better than nothing but you have no baseline to compare using the same camera. Only way to know for sure is roll the dice and buy them.

If they are adaptive or at the very least auto leveling then we have something, otherwise hard pass. I wish our car had a diffused DRL like these headlights, that's the part I like the most. Otherwise from the pics fitment looks good.

I’ll ask but I doubt it for the price range

The thing with most aftermarket headlights is that they’ll probably be brighter than OEM but won’t have better visibility on the road than OEM, unless your car came with halogens

He just told me the AFS/auto leveling does not work so that’s a bummer

OEM Auto Leveling involves a small linkage on the rear suspension that the stock headlight
car would not have. These lights look very cool and seem to be nicely made but would likely
be anti-social in traffic. We enjoy the triple beams on our 2020 ESh and when driving on a
hilly stretch through a woodsy area the lights weave around quite a bit.

Looks wise they look great! They look better than the 16+ Triple because IMO the 16+ are too small for the front design of the rest of the GS.

I asked over in the IS forum if their aftermarkets were Adaptive. They said none were. Hard pass for me too. There is a Guy on Facebook who got these. Waiting too see what happens when he installs. Also wonder if the dash warning lights for the Headlights is going to come on?

Yea that was the dead end road that ended on the other thread. So can someone ask if theses are Adaptive?
