Just a heads up, not sure which European country you're in but pretty much all the mats on eBay are for LHD cars. I almost purchased a spare set until I realised obviously I need a RHD set.

Bladest I’ve merged two floor recent mat threads and a reminder I have previously asked you to stop creating duplicate threads on the same topic.

Its just something you have to deal with having an obscure car in your country, not really going to find these parts locally so can't really complain about import fees imo, it is what it is.

That's not really possible for us outside of usa with these cars. Not to go off topic but in the entire country here there are 15 lexus gs listed for sale and that's between all the generations lol.

Local price and delivery is 300$ delivery 1 month,
so i will never, ever buy them local,
i preffer to pay custom fees and other fees and wait for delivery to save some cash instead of supporting these non exisitng dealerships.

Here is a story.

Last week i called official Toyota in the capital both phones no one picks up ever.
i tried other cities i tried actually 3 more cities same story they either doesnt work or no one pick ups the phone even if its a working day...

what happened next i called 4rd city finally someone pick up the phone i have given to him my car vin/chasis code and he entered it and told me sorry man i dont have system so i can check for availability or price...such a Shame, such non existing dealership/stealerships should be busted or closed... its too bad that everyone who pays for name can create such a non existing stealership.
So after loosing couple of hours i will buy from US or Europe
i will provide you picture when i have my new floor mats!
i am wondering what to do with my old smelly rubber ones? Can i pack them inside vacuum bag ? will this stop the smell?
What do you think i never used vacuum bags in my life?

Yes i agree no one stocks these parts for my car locally they are so rare i am so rare.
i like that so no one will going to steal my car.

i love my car and i want to be different i dont care about parts and dealership obscure , because i also have another classical cars which i drive - daily driver, i can also walk and i can also use public transport if needed so i will not suffer even if i need to wait half a year for parts .
I currently dont drive the car i wait for weather to improve so i can drive my rust bucket all around the Europe with my Eu trip.
Sadly my mechanic is still busy and i am still with my old leaky shocks but thats all right.
i have bought portable vacuum cleaner with laser from dyson in order to clean my car and floor mats from carpet and under the floor mats
and seats etcs and i am happy from the performance brand new.
As i always say- owning a car Thats another level of luxury, some people use public transport or walk.
If you check in usa you will see that My GS450H hybrid gs 4th gen with night vision its almost impossible to find.
even in the us.How many ads are online i guess less than 10.

A vacuum cleaner is not going to get rid of the smell.

Yep, that was actually my point (although admittedly served up a bit backhanded as I’ve had this same conversation and advice repeatedly).

He shouldn’t constantly complain about stuff like zero parts availability, the vat, shipping and other fees on parts imports if he made a decision to buy a complex luxury car with no local or even regional parts sources. And similarly complain about no Lexus-experienced local services available to fix it.

He’s got to sleep in the bed he made.
