Has any one experimented with an different resonator instead of doing the delete?

I have considered it but just never did because I got the Invidia axleback and I just didn’t wanna spend more money. I would recommend just spending more money and doing the borla axleback it definitely sounds the best

I used Vibrant resonator on my old Ford Ranchero with Cleveland in it.
I built a dual 3” system with long tubes for it with the smallest mufflers (straight through) I could find.
The resonance was deafening.
Put one Vibrant resonator on each pipe and all resonance gone. It’s super quiet inside and loud outside. Has a fantastic old muscle car tone to it while all of the unpleasant drone is gone.
I can’t say that it will do exactly the same on a V6 in our cars as resonance is highly individual, but it made magical wonders on my Cleveland V8.

But it’s not “bolt on”. You need to build it, cut it, weld it etc.

What's the objective you are trying to obtain?

The V6 throaty growl above 4000rpm is intoxicating.
