Default 2015 GS-350 F-Sport Scraping Sound

Hi all,

Having a weird sound issue with my rear driver side wheel well. When I start the car, and drive for the first few minutes, there's an scraping sound. Sounds like something is pressing against metal. Added a video below to hear how it sounds. It happens randomly when I drive, but almost always for the first few minutes at lower speeds. Also having an issue with squeaky rear brakes but read on here that its a common problem with F-Sports.

Thanks

Check the indicators on your pads.
If you don't swap the pads you can bend the indicators and drive for a bit.

Did you ever figure out what the noise was? Having a similar issue, took the wheel off and bent the brake shield back thinking it was that, but didn't make a difference. Pads are still good for me as well.

Have this issue as well on my 2015. Replaced the rotors and pads last year and the car isn't driven that much to require replacing again.

I have removed the rear wheel and the rotors twice to check for any parts scraping but nothing. I checked and dialed back the parking brakes inside the rear rotors too.

My neighbor suggested I do some hard runs to bed the brakes and that helped a bit.

A similar issue happened to mine as well. We found out that it was the emergency brake shoes behind the rear brakes that were causing the noise.
