Default Buying a 2016 300h f-sport?

Hi guys,

I'm heading to the dealership tomorrow for a second testdrive off a GS 300h F-sport 2016 in Sapphire Blue (color is beautifull) in the Netherlands. It has about 140.000 km's, but seems flawless. Are there any particular things i should consider? Like the 12V battery which mostly lasts for 5-6 years or 100.000 km? Or a hybrid health check? The first time I drove it, the car was pretty much flawless on every point. The thing that bugs me most is the 'high' mileage. I read a lot on this forum and it seems this should'nt really be a problem until about 250k. But I tend to drive the car around 20.000 km per year, so I will reach the 250k in 5 years. What will the resell value then be, or will i have high costs for the hybrid system? The dealership won't budge with the price (it has even gotten more expensive).

In addition. The climate in the Netherlands is quit mild. So I would like to buy all seasons for the car. The staggered wheels seem to make it impossible to find good wheels, especially the rear which is 265 35 19. I can only find one brand that has this in all seasons, which is Maxxis Premitera ap3... Is this any good or can I go for another wheel size?

Thanks for the help!

Nothing much wrong with the 300h, it’s a bit on the slow side. Takes 9 seconds to get to 100kmh. Fuel economy is not much better than the 450h as it’s a heavy car.

I'd have an ES over a GS300H. If it's going to be 1990s slow it may as well be comfortable

Coming from an is250, the gs300h did feel a bit 'slow'.

I did consider a gs450h. But It is quit a bit more pricy then the 300h. Insurance, maintenance and fuel consumption. In the Netherlands we are limited to 100kp/h on highways. So the logical thing to do is buy a 300h (would love the 450h though)

As for the ES. That was introduced in 2019 here. So the price is around 5 - 10k more then the 2016 gs. The looks of the ES I find less appealing then the gs.

Now there is a Grey president line of the gs 300h 2016 with 80k km at the same price level as the f sport which has run 140k km. But the blue sapphire color of the f sport is just wow.... And with 3 kids in the back, the middle console of the president line is useless.

I asked the dealer for all season staggered tires for the f sport. Let's see if they can find and fit them. Then we might have a deal.
