it's called hateration... we all know this time around that the 2013 GS is at the top of the totem pole... outclasses the BMW, MB, AUDI, INFINITI, etc. when they **** you off just smile and say to yourself "if they only knew". the funny thing is we know what they have but they don't know what we have because to them Lexus GS doesn't have the "it" factor... most don't bother to research and test drive, as long as they see that BM, MB, AU, badge... they assume it's a good car " it's a BMW, it"s a MB" ...nah dumbass, it's a LEXUS this time. don't let it bother you.

Because they are jealouse that they can't afford the car, jealous that the BMW interior/MBZ interior looks the same as it did in the early 2000's, because they have orange interior lights, and because people love to hate. I drive a C300 for work, and convertible 6 series, and I trust me nothing compares to the GS. Interior is garbage. Only have them because they are company cars.

I just don't get that. A little bit from a friend of mine that loves BMWs, but its just good natured ribbing.
Everybody who has seen my GS loves it. Even when I had my ES'es...people just don't comment on the type of car I drive. Maybe its an age thing? Although seeing that I got my first ES when I was like 23 I doubt thats it.

now and ready to go back to Lexus
after 18 mos. And I love this 335i!

Been there, done that! That's why I'm now in a Lexus. Transmission in Mercedes failed at 24,000 miles, and too many problems being experienced by owners of new BMW's. One visit to the Mercedes and BMW forums will make you glad you're in a Lexus.

I rarely get this comments anymore because many people knew that I had a BMW 5 series 2011 model year prior to the GS350 F-Sport and felt it was a boat. They were impressed with the ride and handling of the new GS that they commended me for making a bold choice. I feel good. : )

besides.. does bmw have a supercar..does audi?? (imo r8 is far from the lfa)

My friend (who is a Honda/Acura guy) gave me crap for driving such old people cars. He took my car (05 GS430) to run to the gas station a block away...........and came back 35 minutes later grinning from ear to ear. He handed me the keys and simply said "Now i get it!".
