Just askin. I don't want to spoil the lines but the grit coming off the tires is going to kill paint. Even tire product sprays onto the fenders. With the tires outside the wheel wells this is going to happen but I haven't seen anyone mention it. I was surprised Lexus didn't show them as an option especially with the soft paint rep.

if this is a concern for you, my suggestion is you get paint protection film on where you think will be the affected areas.

Other sports cars like porsche go this route instead of an unsightly mudguard.

Lexus does offer them in other parts of the world. They sell them on eBay if you are looking to buy.

These painted mudguards actually look pretty sweet, kinda like having a body kit.

I want them but they're like $300+

Default Thanks for the options

Protective film may be the cleanest look but won't prevent road splash on the fenders. The Lexus guards look alright but well over $300 with shipping is a bit much. Maybe more frequent washing with the film is the way to go.

you can buy unpainted ones on ebay for 40$.

Dont like mud guards but just noticed today that the reason why my ultra white is so dirty all the time is that it has no mud guards (unlike my old IS250). Driving after a nice car wash theres always mad dirt around bottom (skirts) of the car.

Dirt also accumulates like crazy in between the doors and car

Using vehicle selector in the ad, Not compatible with 2014 GS, even though advertised as such?

I'd like to see a full pic of them installed.

No mud guards on a Toyota Camry looks odd - the Camry actually looks better with them.

I just ordered the painted ones on eBay to match my Deep Sea Mica. Should be here in a couple of weeks.

I have the painted ones (Nebula Grey Pearl) installed. Besides adding protection I think they add to the look. Shipped from Japan in about a week.
