Hopefully these sales numbers burn them all. You know Lexus corporate is not happy.

Although maybe it is a inventory issue...in which case my rant is null and void.

For $900 you can lease an S-Class in NYC.

FYI my LS is $950 with not only nothing down, but $4k in negative equity rolled in from my GS.

I love haggling. I don't consider having a good deal unless the dealer loses patience with me and flat out shows me the door. Most ppl hate it because they can't handle the pressure and don't know their numbers. That's where dealers make their profits, while hating having to deal with someone like me.

i can only say considerable portion. gs is one of the few lexus where they simply made it a point to get volume by pushing lease deals

Just got a call from one of the dealers I contacted last month. Apparently the "numbers have changed drastically"... I haven't called her back, but GS rates must have tanked.... Just an FYI. I'll report back with what she tells me.

March quote for me on an F-Sport MSRP of $59,250, with $0 down, 36 months, 10k miles was like $900/month.

We'll see how much it changed...

UPDATE

Down to a WHOPPING "low 700s"....

The rates haven't changed much. I'm not biting for anything more than 600.

That is beyond ridiculous, it's insane. I guess they were making fun of you.

I need to update that. The quote was actually for 7,500 miles, and $836/month, 36 months, 0 down.

I still have 8 or 9 months on my lease, so I've told them..."I'll just wait" The rates will come down eventually. I have time.

I agree. I'm not having as much luck as the guys on the West coast who got an F-Sport with the same MSRP for like 565....0 down, 10,000 miles , 36 months.

That is the deal I want... I would pull the trigger right now. Even quicker trigger if they actually had USB 2.0...

Are "Finance Incentives" the same for leases? They were doing first month complimentary...up to $850...

It's possible the leases aren't as good as they used to be because GS residuals aren't holding up? So a few years ago they could offer 54% as a residual after 3 years ,and now they are having to go lower.

Or they're not subsidizing the GS350 leases thinking the lower price point of the GS200t will take care of it.

They were offering 58-60% residuals after 3 years...54 would be low.

It's because there's no lease cash and no special money factor. They were doing .0007 MFs, 58% residuals and $3000 in lease cash. Of course the leases were low.

looking at the current used market / black book prices and the residuals that lexus set, most of their cars are way upside down
