Default Finally Painted Brake Calipers!! TONS OF PICTURES!!

After a few months of debating, I finally decided to take a day out of my weekend to paint my calipers. Decided on red with the white F Sport logo since it looks best with my Ultra White. I took some pictures from beginning to end. The final result was a deep, rich, and glossy red that pops when looking at the car from a side profile. This took lots of prep, taping, and patience but overall I am extremely happy and satisfied with the results.

Always wanted the "Brembo Red" color... I can't see myself painting it any other color. Black didn't justify since it wouldn't of been much of a diff.

Looks great, I wanted to do blue for my platinum silver GS. Did you do the rear calipers too?

Thanks everyone. Yes, I did also do the rear. They are small so didn't take any pictures.

Sorry mrkwinning, I didn't meant to steal your thread, but seems like few people wants to see the rear.

Here is what mine looks like.

I did take out the rear caliper from the bracket. It's held on by two 12mm (I think) bolts. I slides out easily from the bracket and you can mask the brake pads and all other components.

As long as you don't disconnect the brake hose, you don't need to bleed the brake.

Is it necessary to take off the brake calipers? I've never done it before and if I do I'm going to need to find out how haha.

It's not really necessary, but I didn't want to paint over the brake pads. And for me, removing 2 bolts wasn't really a big deal.

2 bolts removal and caliper slides out from the bracket.
