Default Hit pothole and lost Tow hook Cover

Hit a pothole and found out later I lost my tow hook cover, turns out it's not tethered to the bumper like in the previous generation.

Why Lexus?

Anyways an unpainted one from the lexus dealer in the USA is $20, but you can buy a painted one from Japan for $5:
http://jp-carparts.com/lexus/partlist.php?maker=lexus&type=3321B0&cartype=6&fig=5201

.

If this happens to anyone else, this seems like the most reasonable thing to do. I'll update this thread pictures with the color match to my Liquid platinum or as they call it in Japan sonic silver.

perfect color match, it’s painted by lexus in Japan no idea why USA dealers don’t offer it painted..

I don’t think it was tethered/attached to the bumper like it was supposed to. There is a thin plastic part that’s supposed to keep it attached even if it pops out.

Yeah when I did my 14 bumper swap, I remember it was tethered.

You aren't kidding. When I had my MINI S back in '08 I nailed one out of a tollgate before the Holland Tunnel (I think) and it bent BOTH driver's side wheels. New OZ's I might add. Potholes large enough to swallow small children.

Just lost mine over the weekend. Was NOT tethered. Need to get one already painted. 2013 GS350 NON-F-Sport in shiny black. I don't know the name of the color.

Look for the color code on driver door sticker.
