Retrofit Factory lux rear sun sunshades into a 2013 GS
The only factory option my car doesn't have other than DRCC and LKA.
I retrofitted the lux seats into my car:

Didn't think of it at the time, but now I'm sourcing the parts from a wreck that won't cost an arm and a leg. I plan on cutting my existing door panel to accommodate the sunshades. I should have everything together by early May and will update this thread. Running out of mods worth doing lol

Some parts arrived!
First step is to remove the door panel and cut it to install the sunshade. I didn't buy the pre-cut door panel to save money.
Here is the factory door panel with the window seal removed.
Remove these clips.
Sunshade next to door panel.
All the screw holes to hold down the sunshade exist on the non-sunshade door panel.
Cut off these clip retention brackets. I used a hacksaw blade.
Hard to see in the pic but there is a factory seam that lines the part of the door panel we have to cut off.
I run my sharpie along this seam.
Start cutting the door panel right on the line.
Door panel with the piece I cut off.
Install the sunshade with small screws.
Complete door panel with sunshade, looks factory!
to be continued....
