Bought my first GS this weekend!
Hi folks,
Previous Lexus owner here (ES for me, RX for better half), but never have owned a GS. My 2007 ES350 has been one of the best cars I have ever owned, and I honestly had a hard time making the decision to move onto something newer/different. However, our location has proved the need for AWD and that was the biggest reason to make the change.
After looking for about 6 months, at 3rd and 4th generation GS's, I decided it was worth the extra money to go 4th gen, and looked at a few F-Sports, as I like the AVS option. Loved everything about them except that they had no fog lights. Learned after more research (thanks to all of you on this site!), that - if you can find them, the GS350 with Luxury package has the AVS like the F-Sport, but also fog lights.
Found this 2013 GS350 AWD w/Luxury & Cold Weather package, and purchased it over the weekend:
At dealership
Made it home
While flipping through the owners manual, came across the original window sticker tucked inside:

From what I can tell, it seems like this was loaded with most options - at least those I would want to have. The maintenance records were all in place, all work done at the dealership throughout the life of the car.
I welcome any comments, suggestions, tips and tricks!

I have the same car and year w/o the ML and HUD features but with remote start.
Mine is platinum but love your color as well.
I also went from ES to GS and loved it immediately.
Mine now has over 100K and is my daily driver.
The car is awesome and maintenance free besides oil, brakes and tires.
My best tip is to get good all season tires and you will be set.
I bought:
Goodyear Assurance® WeatherReady® Tire Size: P235/45R18 Product Code: 767871537
and they have been great in both summer and winter. They wear well, handle great, are quiet and work well in rain and snow. (I live in CT)
Good luck with it!

Awesome rare luxury package equipped GS! You pretty much have every option available for the Lux model except for (the discontinued) night vision...Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks for all the comments and congrats! Also thanks for tire recommendations, as living in WI does require decent tires. There is a brand new set of tires on the car, so I’ll run those for now and see how they perform.
Looking forward to many years with is one!

Thanks for the additional congrats/welcomes!
It seems like the GS forum is much more active than the ES forum; I appreciate that.
Window tinting is scheduled in a couple weeks; 20% rear window, back door windows, windshield strip, 35% front door windows. I will post pictures when it is completed. Should look good and dark with the black interior.

Can I join this party?
I, too, just bought my first GS. I have a GX and have been looking for a perfect LS430 forever, I gave up on that and searched for an LS460 but whenever I found one that I liked, it was snatched up. I have always loved the looks of the GS350 and when I heard that it was being discontinued, I realized that it might be the perfect fit for me. I found this 2013 with 69K miles, luxury package and mark levinson for 17.8K. It has a very solid maintenance history and drives wonderfully. After 14 hours, I couldn't be more happy. I will dive into this forum and see what tasteful upgrades might be in store. I think window tint and some sort of Apple Carplay adapter will be my first two pursuits. Really happy to be part of the GS community.
Sorry the picture sucks, I'm at work.
