Default Parted with the GS today...

But don't worry, I got another one!

My 2015 GS was Atomic Silver and I loved it. When my lease was up and I decided to purchase another GS, I really wanted another Atomic Silver but chose Smokey Granite Mica as I figured that, if I'm getting the same car, I ought to at least get a different color.

While my 19 GS was awesome, and SGM is a beautiful color, I kept getting envious when I saw other GSs around in Atomic Silver.

Today I rectified that.

Traded in my 19 for a 20. Exactly the same car other than the color. I got a reasonable discount on the 2020 which, combined with the current 0% financing, meant I basically kept the same payment but will have this one paid off earlier than had I kept the 19.

It feels great to have AS again!

How does the 2019 compare to the 2015 in terms of steering, ride and handling?

It was a little bit impulsive. I'm glad I hadn't just done the big negative battery terminal mod to the 19.

Well u could always carry it over to the new car.

Did u have a bit of negative equity added to the 2020?

Not much, no. I've been paying extra each month on the 19 so I was in pretty good shape.

The 19 and 20 are quite a bit different than the 15 was. I gave more details about that in the thread when I bought the 19. See here for my comments on that subject, in addition to a few others who made a similar transition:

But 19 and 20 are exactly the same right? Down to the missing battery cover?

I'm not going anywhere with my 19, no good deals around here. This baby is staying for a while. lol

I've only found one difference so far. The USB ports in the center console box had a cover on my 19, but no cover on the 20.

For me, it was the 0% financing that sealed the deal. The car itself wasn't discounted nearly as much as it should have been. It had been sitting on the lot so long it had green crap growing in the panel gaps. Poor thing needs a detail day.

Next up is tint and a full front clear bra.

Wow JDR, I literally thought you were joking when you said you might go for the 20 model. Hats off to ya for staying loyal to our awsome GS's. It will be interesting down the road to hear your thoughts on the subtle differences between the 19 and the 20. Even though they're the exact car I'm sure you might notice something different. Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats on your new 2020 ride. I know you talked about this before on getting a newer one with the color you wanted.

I got the 0% for 5 years and 90 day no payment also.

The 2019 used is almost like new still at 8400 miles. The dealer will likely CPO that car to sell.
