Rear of car swerves side to side in high speed/rain
Bit of a stupid question probably, but I've noticed my GSF's rear swerves side to side sometimes after
1. Doing a quick lane change at semi high speed (90km/hr +)
2. Turning slightly faster than normal on roundabouts
3. Accelerating in the rain
I'm running Pirelli PZeros. I'm not an expert in checking tyre baldness but they still seem quite good. I don't think the front is a problem as I recently changed one of the tyres due to my SO damaging it.
Is it time for new tyres?

Check your rear wheel bearings and also have your alignment checked.

To me that second picture shows a good bit of distance before you get to the wear indicator. How many miles are on the car? Is it possible this is due to a suspension issue?

Thanks guys
I've found the right term for it. The car is basically fishtailing. Will go to the mechanic tomorrow and get them to have a look at it.

Too much rear tire pressure for the load you have. What TVD setting are you using? I default to slalom for city driving and track for highway. Pretty sure it's mostly like an open diff if you don't select a mode.
I experienced exactly what you describe on the freeway at speed, but my rear tires were within 1mm of the wear bars. Had to slow to 80 kph to keep the rear end at the back in a pretty intense downpour. Tires are Continental DWS06, and they are normally just fine for daily driving in any weather above freezing.
