Default RR-Racing Pulley and Ignition coil!!

Everything just came in today. Excited!!

So far, I’ve installed the HS coil. Install took about 5 hrs since it was my first time. Think if I did it again it would be a couple hours less. Driving impression I noticed a cleaner start up, slight increase in exhaust noise, feels like there’s some power gains, exactly how much? Not sure. Next will be the damper and pulley 😊
Here’s the beast getting ready for some runs after install….jk lol

To get the most out of those coils, you really need a tune to go with them. The factory tune is pretty rich, so hot coils won't do a lot to make more power until the tune is corrected.

Funny… I read that somewhere. Were you the one that posted that in CL?

We've had great feedback from the beginning on these. Most customers are reporting improved throttle response and faster engine revving. Our tests here confirmed quicker acceleration which was shown on the draggy performance meter.

I second what Justin posted from experience.

Check out the link. There's a quick explanation about them. The real benefit is going to be in the main engine damper but we offer these to complete the set. They're also available in blue.

Default Halfway done!

Almost there…need a 22mm deep socket. Spilt a little bit of coolant will need to top off. Not sure if air got into the system.

I would say a definite yes, the car is smoother and the throttle response is faster.

The only thing is, be very careful when installing the pulley, and follow the install instructions using a torque wrench for the screws as per the specs, and also using the screw threadlocker with the kit, because if you don't the screws will come out, and they will damage the pulley.

GS350BO, by the way congrats and the high ignition coil and the pulley. I just love the blue pulley, and I think it looks much better than the red, which I have; the color is perfect for our cars.

The only directions I see is for the crank bolt to be torqued to 242lbs. My package didn’t come with threadlocker or the loctite 660.

And thanks, I agree about the blue they definitely are a better match to the manifold.

Just got it all installed and to be honest couldn’t really tell much of a difference in power. But it does feel a little smoother but my downshifts doesn’t feel as strong for some reason, not sure if it’s all in my head. Think I felt more from the HS ignition coils and new spark plugs. Might need to do more testing to confirm the pulleys.

I had a different experience when I installed it, maybe like you said, you felt more from the HS ignition coils, or I hyped you up about it and you built a specific experience in mind.
Mine felt like installing a throttle controller (I had the sprint booster installed before and I removed it after a while because I did not feel that the car was natural in its behavior, if you get what I'm saying, specially in Sport and Sport+ modes, there was something fake about the experience), anyways, the ride is a lot smoother and the the response is a lot faster with the pulley after I installed it, and it felt like having a throttle controller, but it is a natural car feel.
As for the shifts, they feel the same to me, aggressive as always, maybe because of the mods I have too my experience is different to the pulley.
Keep in mind that fuel and other weather factors play a big role too, and I currently live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
