Navigation updates
Hi all,
Where's everyone getting their Navi map updates from?
I contacted a local dealer and they wanted ~$500. I told them that was ridiculous.
My understanding is the 2016 GSF uses the GEN9 system (which uses a MicroSD card) and the original part info is
PT219-GEN09-17 (the 17 at the end signifies the release year, so likely would want something more recent)
Part ID# 86271-53391
I saw a video of a guy updating an RX350 with PT219-GEN09-21, so I know at least that year edition of update exists.

Part number PT219-GEN09-21
I see these folks are charging ~$210 the GEN9 updates

I mostly use my phone for navigation but it would be nice to have the car with updated maps as well.

I never use the Lexus nav. It's too primitive compared to what my phones provide. I actually got a GROM V-Line 2 for my IS just so I could have Android functionality using my phone as a network connection and bypass all the factory stuff unless I really need to access it.
