Is it normal a 4 yrs CPO GSF has execessive paints chips and scratches

I'm in Dallas and took a look at this one a few weeks ago. It was in excellent shape for 100k miles, just had some small rock chips on the lower part of the front bumper.

You mean that 161 check list, right? I did have that and it did include paint chips and scratches as part of the appearance check. However I can't find at which level will it be marked pass or fail. It's more dealer subjective?

When I was looking at it, @Nunz had let me know it's been on sale since early this year. Guessing folks are scared of the higher mileage or maybe there's something I don't know.
I think it's gotten down to a great price personally. If it was a 2018 (I want auto brake hold) and interest rates were lower I probably would have bought it honestly.

It could have been a Lexus Performance Driving School car, did it have the brakes and rotors replaced early on in its life ?

The brake pads and rotors replaced in Jan 2022, indeed I have all the maintenance history at hand looks normally used. Just feel down to see it as a CPO price but still leaving whatever paint chips it is.
