The Lexus website has an explanation of CPO qualifications.

Interesting to know. I totally skipped it when I saw 2 owners with previous damage reported. So you feel that still drives excellent, if yes, it might be interested to have a trip to Dallas... I am in Austin.

You mean that 161 check list, right? I did have that and it did include paint chips and scratches as part of the appearance check. However I can't find at which level will it be marked pass or fail. It's more dealer subjective?

Whatever minor damage it had on the rear was repaired by insurance most likely. I looked at and test drove it and it was a clean car in my eyes. It doesn't have HUD though.

When I was looking at it, @Nunz had let me know it's been on sale since early this year. Guessing folks are scared of the higher mileage or maybe there's something I don't know.

I think it's gotten down to a great price personally. If it was a 2018 (I want auto brake hold) and interest rates were lower I probably would have bought it honestly.

It could have been a Lexus Performance Driving School car, did it have the brakes and rotors replaced early on in its life ?

The brake pads and rotors replaced in Jan 2022, indeed I have all the maintenance history at hand looks normally used. Just feel down to see it as a CPO price but still leaving whatever paint chips it is.

Lol. I changed my pads at 12k miles because I couldn’t handle the squealing noise anymore.
