Hey,
I want to get an exhaust system, I am a new member of the GSF club. I am thinking of this one or a variant of it (only midpipe or only axleback): https://www.apexi-usa.com/collection...36120891916451
I have heard the sound of this system on YouTube, and I like that it's subtle. I'm looking for a tone that is not much louder than OEM more just accentuating the OEM noise and this seems to fit the bill.
I'm more in favor of stock/sleeper look so the idea of getting a complete catback system sounds like a leap of faith for me. What are peoples' thoughts on this? I've also never really thought of exhaust drone, will it be bad with this system?
Should I get the catback because it'll help with performance and weight and not be too loud? Should I just do the midpipe or axleback? What about keeping the OEM system? I know it's a lot of questions but hopefully the premise of my curiosity is clear. Thanks in advance for any help people can provide

If you're looking for an OEM+ type sound from an exhaust then I'd recommend the Tom's SS axle back, I have it and it also seems to be the most popular exhaust in general https://www.modinjapan.com/toms-raci...400-tul10.html
Can choose between blue or standard exhaust tips, and later down the line you can always get the compatible Apexi midpipe if you want it to be even louder. I only wish they had an X-pipe version 😔.

Recently installed Apexi non-resonated mid and Greddy Axelback. Not sure I have heard the "howling" you speak of. I think the combo sounds great.
Are there any YT examples of the "howling"?
