Just wanted to share a project I finished today. I use a CTEK battery charger/maintainer to keep my GSF battery healthy while it sits in the garage. The GSF is a semi-daily driver but even with frequent use I like to keep the battery topped up in hopes of it lasting longer.

I got tired of manually connecting the clamps to the battery terminals every time so I hardwired a magnetic port into the fuse box lid and now I can connect and disconnect my charger really easily which encourages me to use it more.

I wanted to put it somewhere that could be accessed without opening the hood but I couldn't find any good locations.
