Did the seller give you reason why he back out the deal? Originally he posted on FB group, we told him it a $30k car all day, he went to defensive mode. Only now to have listing on Autotrader for $30k.

I reached out to him from that autotrader listing. I didnt belong to the FB group at the time. He basically texted me 30 minutes before us meeting up saying he didnt want to sell it anymore. But he let me check it out and test drive it as if he was still willing to sell it. long story short... I offered to pay him more as long as I got a pre-purchase inspection at the local lexus dealership or any other dealership/mechanic he trusted but he refused to "let anyone else touch his car", which would have prevented me from pulling the trigger regardless. I wasn't going to beg him to sell the car to me and it didnt seem like he really wanted to sell it anymore.
