Well this just flew off my "maybe next time" list. I thought it was going to be 72k base and up to 85 loaded. Starting at 85, it's out of my reach. I have a year left on my F Sport, so I have plenty of time to test drive anything.
Really disappointed in this pricing. I cannot justify the outlay for a new engine and some other bits and bobs, 20k premium but I'm not seeing where that 20k went. Hopefully we'll see a 400hp turbo v6 in a year or two in the regular GS lineup. Then again the GS200t may have some tuner potential but I won't hold my breath on it.

Although my wife had a used 2010 IS and I was very impressed with the build, there is absolutely zero chance that I would have ever considered a Lexus for myself until the 4GS appeared. So they managed to get the attention of some car guys like me. Question is whether they can hold on to it.

On the other hand I applaude Lexus & how they held the line on price on the new RX for the most part but to go $20k more on an extra two doors, that's

Correct me if I'm wrong but fully loaded RC-F still keeps the same price difference with GS-F just like the base RC when compared to the base GS.
But I agree with you GS-F as is should come in at low 70s just like RC-F loaded should have came in tick below $70. But that's Lexus and their weird huge markups for niche trims, GSh is still $11,000 more expensive then comparably equipped GS350 just like it was with first gen hybrid. They cant convince anyone on this planet that cost difference is still the same as it was almost 10 years ago and then no wonder hybrid doesn't sell, like they don't want it to sell.

Lexus Australia's sales ambitions are not huge − 40-50 a year
Um, ambitions of only 40-50 GS F are expected to be sold in Australia, which has a population of 24 million. Comparatively speaking (if you can even compare buyers of a GS F in Australia to buyers in the U.S.), that would be equal to sales of 535 - 670 being sold in the U.S. With about 250 Lexus dealerships in the U.S. the number of GS F [comparatively] sold in the U.S. will average a little more than two per dealership. Of course some dealerships will sell many more, and some will likely sell none.

I see a lot of people comparing this Lexus GSF with many other cars like BMW, MB, Tes, and Audi. I think all the cars are over price. Why don't people just got buy a 2016 Honda Accord Sport for 20k and save yourself 65k+???

Yeah, I agree. However, some people need a luxury car to do business. GSF is a "NO' for me.

Why Honda Accord? It's still cost $25K. Just get a $500 beater, u will save even more money that way. The thing will still get u from point A to Z.

Maybe taking a public transportation will eventually save you a lot more more money than buying an Accord.
