Swung by Sewell today to test drive. Sat down for five minutes with the sales guy to run preliminary numbers. Without saying a word the first price was 74k. I told them 69k should be possible. Mentioned lot rot, etc. I was looking to lease but the residual (54% @ 36 months) destroys the lease on this model.
He called back thirty seconds after I left the lot saying 69 is possible on them.
Here are the sad lease numbers based on 36 months, 10k annual, and a 74k price: 1599 up front and 1250 per month. That's nowhere near the perfect 1% lease so this is a buyer's car for sure.

Damn, that's pretty deflating with those lease numbers. What was the financed payment on your deal?
Just drove my GSF back home. I had a huge blast along the way. Excellent deals are definitely out there, just need to be patient and continue to work the dealerships. Good Luck to us all!!
I figured the money factor was the deadly element in that deal. LFS doesn't want these leased, they want them sold. For 1250 monthly I could get a 125k car at the 1% rule. Crazy.
