Yes the money factor is the important aspect of the lease. Need to get it under 0.00132 to make it worthwhile. Also need selling price to be right.

Yep. I don't know what the MF was on that deal, it wasn't on the page. Still, with a lease like that you'd be a moron to sign off. Could hit a credit union for a 2-3% 6 year note and only pay 1k monthly. Something was pretty rotten in that deal.

Doesn't matter. A sale is a sale, the sale price is negotiated before you talk about how to pay for it.

If you're on the fence you better do something tomorrow, that 10k factory incentive ends on the 3rd. Something attractive may replace it in December or they might extend it, but all you can count on is what we know they are offering right now.

The only issue with waiting is inventory depleting.

only to refill it with 2017s granted we might have to wait a while before we can get these kinds of deals on the 2017s.

Mine was a purchase, not a lease.

Makes sense because the lease terms were unbelievable. Funny how this thread kinda died after the 3rd. Waiting on the next promo myself.

Just curious as to why people choose to lease these type of vehicles?

To me, daily drivers are leased where I don't worry about taking care of it and then return it as lease end. But on a $70K+ vehicle, I don't understand it..

why wouldn't you use a $70k+ vehicle as DD? Why park that much amount of money in the garage to depriciate?

owners lease for a variety of reasons. To name a few: tax write off, want a new vehicle every few years, easy to trade/sell at lease end vs selling by self

All good points. For me, I prefer liquidity to having cash tied up in depreciating assets. I look at ownership as a fixed cost and budget accordingly.

70k cars can easily be daily drivers too?

So I'm back to Lexus after three years with an Audi RS5 (only cause I have a family now and need 4 doors!). I'm in Canada, BC to be specific and just picked up a GS-F today for $84,250 before taxes.. Works out to about $63.6K USD, so I'm pretty happy!
