Any other clues to determine a track car? As I have been to Lexus driving events and those cars were certainly driven to the limit constantly

Usually very low miles, new tires and brakes in an abnormally low time frame as well as alignments/rotations. Make an account on lexus drivers and plug in the VINs and you can see the history.

I've noticed the '17 inventory is really low and most of the vehicles are nowhere near me (CA). Anyone want to weigh in about purchasing a car long distance? I bought my last car brand new and shipped to me, but used is a different story

I live in VA and purchased my ‘16 in Ohio. No issues. I had an independent inspection done and had the car shipped to me.

Nice. I like the idea of an independent inspection. Would you mind sharing details? Was it a professional company that did it? What was the fee? Was it pretty comprehensive check? Thanks!

I used AIM Certify. They have several different packages. I opted for the preferred base package which offers a 150 pt inspection and a test drive. You can also request that they look at specific things. The preferred package is $129.

I'm probably the only person that is still searching for one.
When will dealers start discounting '18's? IIRC around this time last year '17's were heavily discounted.

I don't see many 18s around... I know last two years there was a good stock of left overs but it seems that LEXUS have really scaled sown the 2018 numbers and 2019s are now starting to show up...

Should I be worried about a 2017 with only 3800 miles on it? (https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...2060/overview/)
The Carfax reported 'Listed as a manufacturer and vehicle sold at auction'--whatever that means
Are auctions a bad thing?

I wouldn't be too concerned about being an auction vehicle. If you look at the vehicle history on many of the GS-F's, you will see auction history. If it were closer to me I would definitely consider it.
How do we feel about "corporate fleet" vehicle history. From my understanding sometimes leased vehicles are listed as such, though I'm not sure why some say "personal lease" whiles others say "corporate fleet". I love the spec on this car, almost enough to fly out and look at in person. Lexus Drivers info makes it seem like a personal owner leased the vehicle, not a company, though I can not be 100% certain.
Anyone have insider info on this car at Sewell ?
