Default Would GS-F have same fuel pump issue as RC-F?

Might be too early to tell, but since they share the same engine would the fuel pump also be defective and make the same noise? Would be a shame for a 90k Lexus

That's a good question.

They'd actually have to sell some GS-Fs and have them on the road for this question to be answered.

Unless your pump has failed, what you are hearing is not a bad fuel pump. There is a fix on way. I have no insight into the bad fuel pump replacements, but I understand it impacts a small number of us.

According to lexus it Looks like the fuel pump issue can affect the GS-F too...

Good news though, Lexus has come up with a fix already

My car is in the shop for a new tire install and I asked the service adviser if any open TSB out for the GS-F can be completed at this time. I asked for this specific fuel pulp TSB in particular. Will update.

You burned through the stocks already? Or did you pick up a nail unfixable?

Sidewall (2 in gash) gave out after a pothole. Lost 20psi in 45 seconds.

I had called the dealer to have the fuel pump issue looked at while the car was there for it's ~30 hour visit. I had talked with a another service rep and was told the message about the TSB inquiry would be relayed to my service adviser. Once I was there, my service adviser was no where to be found. Whoever I was dealing with had a hard time even looking up the TSB I was referring to. Once found, he told me that it was not on my service request and the tech doesn't do the work unless it's on the service request sheet. He is correct on that... So that was my first experience at the Silver Spring location.

I had got a small rock chip last weekend and my salesman told me to bring it in to look at. Once arrived, the salesman and the service rep took the car to the bay (within a minute of stepping out of my car) and touched up the wheel with some touch up paint (I know not ideal but it does the job). The service rep noticed I did not have a leather sleeve for my key and put one on as a courtesy. I was in and out in 15 minutes. That was my first experience at the Rockville location.
