Fuel pump issue
Has anyone here experience the fuel pump issue being discussed in the RCF forum? I believe I have the issue and will be heading to the dealer next week.
Here's the thread and TSIB information

It only gets done if you complain about it. If you don't, nothing happens. This is not a recall or even an update. It's just a service bulletin to save the techs time if the customer complains about a noise. We have about 1400 miles on the car. No noticeable noise.

I didnt really hear the noise on mine but from all the RCF owners saying how much better the car felt after the reflash, i had my dealer update mine.
I can agree with the other guys that the car seems to be smoother, as if it knows what gears its supposed to be in now and the power feels more linear as appose to shifting and trying to find the right gear... I only drove it back so not much time with the re flash but it seems much better with it done

I haven't got my official Techstream working yet because I haven't bought the Mongoose cable yet, but as soon as I do I'll be validating the flash was done. If anyone in ATL wants to know if they've had it done with independent verification, let me know and we can meet up to check.

Lance, I chose to not get the flash at my 5K since I do not have any real issues with my transmission so I cannot help validate. Curious to what you find out once you hook up your Techstream. I also did not get the oil pump flash since I am not experiencing any issues in that department either.

Oil pump flash? What is that? I haven't seen anything in TIS about the oil pump.
There are two low pressure fuel pump related ECM software updates in TIS. The first is dated 2016-07-05 for the US market, the second is 2016-11-04 for the Canadian market. They apply to the RCF and GSF platforms. There is no mention in the documentation any other systems are impacted by these updates, and they are specifically to address a noise coming from the low pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank. The LSB clearly states this is only for a fuel pump noise, and if the update has been done, proceed with standard troubleshooting per the FSM.
