You get the most gains with headers and exhaust but the stock bump is about 20whp and 20wtq

Do you have headers and aftermarket exhaust ? Or just this ECU tune?

Here is a link to RR Racing web page, with some dyno numbers for reference. To bad they didn't do a stock before and after dyno

Hard to get excited about 20hp/20tq, especially for the cost. An ECU flash on my factory stock C63 gave me 70+hp....that's worth the money!

400 is cheap. And with headers and exhaust and soon the supercharger it'll be a beast and not something that has to be in the shop all the time. It's crazy to me how people keep comparing power of the gsf and ISF to our German counterparts but forget that we aren't in the shop with mods as much as they are stock lol

$400 is cheap but then how much for the exhaust and headers.... just saying in the real world you won't notice much change with 20hp. If it were 80hp then that's a different story, there was a big difference after I tuned my C63. And it was never "in the shop" except for maintenance. I have always believed that Lexus makes a better car than Mercedes but I had no issues with my C63. And I will never put a supercharger on my GSF. I think you could get away with headers/exhaust/ECU and still be under warranty but NOT with a supercharger.

So what's the reason you are not in a c63 today if it was such a perfect car?

400 bucks for 20hp is not very cheap. but if anything it's because it is NA engine so it's more constraint.

on bmw and mb turbo cars 1k can get you a lot more hp. on my car i get over 100hp/100tq

Anything boosted will give more hp/dollar on a tune. It will also reduce the safety margin and service life the factory built in. Never forget, the factory's goal is to get your engine through the warranty period without replacing it. This includes compensating for owners who run regular instead of premium, owners who bought contaminated fuel, owners who ignore operating temperatures, and owners who ignore service intervals. So factory tunes are far from optimized for full performance. Rafi does a bit of his own magic and maintains a lot of the failsafes the factory built into the engine. Any tune for a boosted engine resulting in more boost than the factory intended will not have the same failsafes and service life. It's just not possible. So, you give some to get some. If you sell the car before it starts having issues, you just transferred the problem to the new owner.
