Why nobody has come up with an RCF style hood for the GSF is beyond my comprehension.

Man I spoke with a CF manufacturer about trying to get just 1 made for my GSF & he quoted me 2500 to make & 2700 shipped freight, I said F$ck that!!!

I also had a convo with Lou from Mod in Japan ( Sexy GSF btw Lou ) & he stated that Seibon just didn't think there would be a demand for it #gofigure

No demand for a vented hood, yet they go ahead and manufacture CF ones?
Obviously cheaper cost to produce with huge profit margins as opposed to more expensive metal hood!

Yeah from my understanding they said that they didn't think the RCF vented CF hood would be a big seller for the GS, just the regular factory spec CF hood, which for the life of me i cant figure out why you wouldn't put out some feelers & see what owners would want because i know of a handful of people who would buy it & the list continues to grow!!!

This is just my personal opinion but I think modded GSFs probably represent a very small fraction of all GSFs made whereas the RCF attracts the modding community. Again, this is just my own speculation so I think that demand might not be there. I'd be interested to see how many mods these vendors sell to RCF owners vs GSF owners.

Also, I don't think the RCF hood would look right on the GSF. And I say this as someone who likes the RCF hood.

Congrats!

I did more or less something similar. I went from a 08 IS F, to a 14 GS 350 F Sport to a 19 GS F (ultra white, circuit red).

You are so right. It's the perfect marriage of the smaller Fs for performance and the GS for a little more room and DD ride quality.

Latest walk-around of my baby!
I'm thinking of removing the Lexus badge at the back, don't know why our cars have them anyway. I hope it's stuck on and not screwed.

Pretty sure adhesive is all thats keeping it there. I actually added a Lexus badge to mine for symmetry...the left side’s empty spot bothered me enough.

Was driving to pickup pizza, looked left, did a double take and pulled off a u-turn that would have made Nic Cage proud
