And all this is why I have LiFePo4 batteries in everything I own now. Never again a lead/acid device. Too heavy and too prone to issues from sitting (like sulfation) unused. They do require a different charger, but even that is a million times easier and it tells you the health of the battery as it charges. The only downside is initial purchase price at ~$600 each. But they last at least 10 years and they will never leak acid or corrode your terminal connections. Super bonus - your 44 pound lead/acid battery is replaced with a 12 pound lithium battery. I'll never go back! And for the record, I have 24 Ah units in both the IS F and GS F, and an even smaller and lighter one in the Supra. Supra battery:
I ran this battery in my IS F for about a year before putting it in the Supra. It worked perfectly.
just over three weeks of ownership, this is what happens when you are mates with a TOM's racing official distributor who's only 15 min from where you live..
TOMS V2 kit (1:1 in Australia so far), TOMS SS axle/brace/filter/carbon wheel, Novel Ducts, LEMS intake etc.
I've had Antigravity LiFePo4 batteries in my F cars and my Supra since 03/03/2020. Zero issues except the starter on the IS F failed when I installed the battery. Starter was due for replacement anyway.
