Default MPG estimates on your GSF?

Hi CL,
Drove my F for about 2-3 weeks now. What kind of MPG are others getting with the stock GSF? I was getting 11 MPG off the lot, after oil change and full tank of gas, I'm getting 13 MPG. Mostly local, normal mode, and never above 3000-4000 RPM. I know they aren't gas savers, but this sounds a little low for normal everyday driving.

I'm going on 6 months of ownership. Mostly city driving with weekend highway driving with a mix of normal/Sport/Sport+ modes. I'm getting in the 15-16 range on average. I'd like to see what i'd get with highway driving only, but am too tempted with my heavy foot.

That's nothing. You'll need a few thousand miles to break in the 'efficiency' so to speak.

I am getting about 20-21mpg on mix driving. 24-25mpg on highway.....

Thought I was pretty hard on the gas already....

OK. Thanks. I will give it some time then. Everyone else had this condition on their first thousand miles or so?

I have had mine just under 2 weeks and averaging so far 19.6 mpg in normal/sport. I averaged 24 in Eco. I commute 9 miles one way (18 miles a day) to work and it is a mix of hwy/city. Sounds like you are either hard on the gas, the engine hasn't really broken in yet, or something is wrong. To compare I am coming from a 2015 Z06 and only averaged 14.5 on that commute in sport, and 15 in eco.

Short trips and stop and go traffic you can get 11 to 12 MPH.

15-16 mpg mostly city. 11-12 seems a bit harsh in my opinion but that is just me.

I have 16K on it now since July. Do 90% highway driving and I'm getting 19-20 mpg in Sport mode. WOT twice a day, each way to and from work. 11-12, I would have to drive it like I was at the track with RPM is 4-6K constantly... which would get tiring

Lots of factors in MPG. Driving habits, time of day (i.e. heat and humidity), traffic, and fuel quality are just a few. Some have reported that they had too much oil after the dealer did the service that caused lots of MPG loss.

I use Sport S and S+ exclusively, mostly city driving with lots of stop and go, and get 14-15 mpg. S+ really eats into things only using the first 6 gears but I can't help but turn that on any time I'm not in traffic. On road trips that are mostly highway it's mid-high 20s and the mode doesn't seem to matter. ~7k miles on the car with those numbers.

At the track I get ~7 mpg
