GS F discontinued

In addition to RandyB saying that he saw the 2018 GS F owner's manual on the Lexus Owners Site, Lexus also has a press release showing 2018 model pricing which shows the 2018 GS F base price increased by about ~$400 (who knows if they put more options in as standard that were removed in 2017?--heads up display). They also posted updated product information for the 2018 RC F (some minor changes).

Dear Lexus:
Please, pretty please....
1. Sort out the trunk space issue with the spare wheel
2. Match your side view mirrors either with body paint.. or carbon fibre to match the splitters and spoilers.
Thank You

Thanks for the information...Reviewing all 3-years of production information released by Lexus on the GS-F...A couple questions came to my mind...
Initial release of the 2016 GS-F has the "Heads Up Display" as an Standard Equipment, but the 2017-2018 has it as an "Option."
Plus, states it's "Color"...
Brah, my 2016 is Color too...
Looks like just safety upgrades from 2016 to 2018...meh...
Plus, Colored Rims vs "Optional" 2016 polished Wheels...
The BIGGEST Change for 2018: NO GRAY Interior option...
My opinion:
If you're LEASING and/or staying STOCK; then get a 2017/2018 depending on the INTERIOR Color you want...
If you're MODIFYING and/or CHOPPING up then get a 2016...
Happy Driving

So I was just told by Kuni Lexus in Colorado:"Regarding the GS line. They are cutting back production based on demand but not discontinuing production. I hope this answers your questions!"
This was a salespersons response to my question about if the GS line was being discontinued. He wasn't a Sales Manager so not sure if he would actually know.

Sounds like they are developing a next gen GS

Gazoo is now involved in tuning the Lexus “F” models, specifically the next-generation GS-F.
“We are looking at what kind of target audience the car has, what tone and manner, how much understeer and oversteer balance,”Tomoyama said. “The cars have to run faster, and that tuning is already (in place). Even within Lexus, we may have different models which have different tuning.”
