Wow! Are you able to let me know how you purchased one? I contacted my local dealer a couple weeks ago and asked them to contact me if they are receiving a 10th anniversary. I am looking to get a 10th GSF.

Did you have to order through local dealer?

Ordered through my local dealer. I have a strong relationship with them and when I heard about the car I asked to get one. They apparently have a history of selling a bunch of GSFs (including selling me my 2016). The dealership is Sterling McCall Lexus and they are just fantastic. While the car is limited production I would bet it won't be that hard to find one.

Does everyone know the finish on this car requires some very special maintenance? The matte appearance is done with the final clearcoat, so the Nebula Gray underneath is a standard color, but the top coat is a matte clear. They have a special manual for maintaining this finish - which means you can never take this one to a car wash and expect it will get cleaned properly. They say water ONLY, no even slightly alkaline cleaners, and if the finish gets hammered with something like bugs, you'll need to mix up a weak citric acid solution and soak the spots where the bugs are with a chamois soaked with this solution. Maintaining this finish doesn't sound like it's for the uncommitted.

Love the interior, but man, I thought a shiny black car was pain enough. This matte finish takes the cake for PITA to maintain.

Not what I heard through Lexus. They claim the exterior on this particular paint is not harder to care for than the standard paint. I guess we will see.

100% Untrue...Refer to attachment from Lexus.

Special care is required...I don't think daily driving this car is ideal...My question is how's BMW Special Matte paint relates to this paint?

Special care is required with the BMW paint I can tell you from a friend that got his BMW with matte black paint. You will def have to pay more attention to where you go and what falls on it.

Looks like Sewell Lexus of Dallas, TX is getting one.

I'm hoping one of my local dealers will get one so I can see it in person. Honestly, I think it's a poor exterior color choice. :sad

Not sure if structural blue is worth the premium. Saw a structural blue LC500 20' away from a USB GS350 F Sport in the showroom and there's almost no difference to my eyes.

Feel sorry for those that have to repair their car with Structural blue. Roughly $2k per quart

As these are 2019 vehicles, do they come with Apple Carplay?
I find it unacceptable when the same model year of your flagship sedan(LS500) doesn't have Carplay and an entry level sedan ES does.
