My best friend is having a first-word dilemma here. He has the choice of getting a one-owner GSF with low milage or a one-owner 97 Supra Turbo with nearly equally low milage.
Which would you prefer and why? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

GS-F you'd drive it. Supra you'd park it most of the time.

Exactly. You are comparing a modern sport/luxury sedan with a 90's technology 2 door "sports" car.
It just reminded me of my buddy who just popped the question "Tesla P100D or Audi R8 V10" on another forum. Some one remarked it was the dumbest question he heard and as much as I thought it was a harsh remark, it had a ring of truth to it.

Supra - No frills performance coupe focused on the driving experience. No fancy computers, tech, etc.
GSF - Modern luxury/performance sedan with modern tech, computers, etc focused on the technology stuff that matters in the late 2010's.
We live in a tech-centric society, and while tech is cool, but it inherently works against itself. In another 15 years, the Supra will still be the Supra with the same driving experience, whereas the GSF would be looked at as a good luxury Sedan past it's time with obsolete technology because people have moved on to holographic projections and augmented reality and you're still stuck with a 2016 navi systems, Pandora, and other apps from a yesterera. i think the same could really be said of most 90's sports cars where tech was minimal, but the focus is on the driving experience.
So if you're a collector who wants something because it's features will always remain relevant, Supra. If you're in the now with the intention of moving on when the next cycle of tech refreshes, GSF.
PS i think the lowest mileaged GSFs in excellent condition could still command up to $40k in about 5 years, if you use the ISF as a baseline and could also be influenced by the evolution (or axing of) the GS-line.

I can only ask what do you want to do with the car? I have both. They're completely different in so many ways it isn't even funny. If this will be a DD, GS F all the way. If it will be a toy to take out on sunny days to remind you why the current crop of manumatics are vastly superior to three pedals, get the Supra and don't complain about the dwindling parts availability.
