I had the recall performed last week and cannot tell any difference in sound or drivability. From my perspective, it was a nonevent.

He took care of a couple of other little things, treated like his ride, Like new...it makes a great difference to have a service advisor that appreciates his car as much as you do yours. He even made sure there were no marks on the fender from the protective covers they put on the fenders. Cool dude...if there is anyone of you guys in the north Tampa area that want a great Lexus enthusiast as their service advisor ...Matt is the dude for you. Request specifically for him...By the way if anyone is familiar with Doug Demuro on YouTube, he is coming to do a review of Matt's GSF. Soon as if I find out a date, I'll post.

I emailed Doug back in December, and he replied he was interested in reviewing my GSF......

Anyways, I had the recall done, no difference in drivability or noise or whatever.

However, it takes half second longer to start my car. Used to be it would take 1 crank to start the car every time, but now its 3 cranks to start the car... Not sure if related to pump... Its been doing that the past 3 weeks and only did so after pump replacement.
