Default Low constant noises underneath the car

Just notice some low humming noises underneath the car. Not sure what it is. More noticeable when the car is sitting there idling. It’s getting annoying. I thought the squeaky break pad was bad, but this humming noise is killing me. Anyone notice any noises coming from down under? At almost 12k miles, the damn thing is starting to make noises already. Not feeling this Lexus at all.

Does the noise sound like its coming from behind the drivers seat? If so its most likely the low pressure fuel pump that has a bulletin out for the noise. Ecu reflash and the noise is gone. But if not that...I'm not sure.

When I’m sitting in the driver seat, it’s sounded like it’s from the back and down below the driver seat. Is this something that Lexus can fix for free?

Yes. The ecu reflash is free. I had the same issue. Easy fix. Just talk to a service advisor at your Lexus dealer about the noise.

thanks guy, never had any issue needing warranty done in my pass 5 new vehicles I bought. This “Lexus,” would be the first one out of the six cars I bought new. So I’m a newbie to warranty’s. I don’t know about this brand guys

As the guy above stated, there is a TSB out for the noise behind the driver seat. Simple ECU flash will fix the problem. For those that did get the ECU flash, they noticed power bumps.

The reflash requires removing the positive lead from the battery to reset the ECM. This causes a reset to factory on all the learned parameters in the ECM (but not the TCU), so you might have a SOTP difference for a short while until the ECM relearns how you drive, what kind of gas you buy, and what your general atmospheric conditions are. I noticed no difference in performance whatsoever when mine was reflashed.

Power boost? Me likey I’ve had this car start and would shut off on me one day. What I did to fix the problem was to disconnect the battery and connect it back. Started the car and had no issue since. Now this problem, Ughhhhhh! I’ve been using Costco premium gas. It’s been raining here in the Pacific Northwest. I’m tempted to disconnect the battery once again haha.
