Blackstone Oil Analysis Thread - Post your UOA here!
Another analysis from Blackstone, and all good news. I am using the Lexus recommended OCI mainly because this is the wife's car, and in all likelihood, it will be sold, not kept like the IS and Supra. This history is worth far more than dealer maintenance records because it shows the wear on the engine over time. There is a long thread in the RC F forum regarding used oil analysis, which labs are best, which oils might (or might not) be best, etc, etc. I've made an active and informed decision to use one lab for all my testing and while they may not be perfect in many ways, they are reasonably consistent, and we honestly don't have control over the engine tune such that we can fix issues with fuel dilution or myriad other possible problems related to tune. So anyway, results are here.
Update from the last oil change. This was the last run with Mobil 1 5w-30. It has been replaced by Renewable Lubricants 5w-30 Biosyn. While it is pricier than M1, it has significantly greater load capacity and fights fuel dilution well.
Happy to see it exceeds Toyo's ILSAC GF-5 and API SN, and being partially recycled (bio) is also good for the environment. Might look into using it once my 10,15 and 20k services are done by Lexus.

That is what is in the car now. Time will tell how it tests when I send it in at the next change. My results above are from Mobil 1 5w-30.
Those results are pretty much best case scenario! Are you happy enough with Renewable Lubricants to keep using it?
I am buying it in 5 gallon buckets now. Supra takes 6 quarts, and the two F cars are 9 quarts each give or take a little. 5 gallons goes surprisingly fast.
