Default 20mm spacers + RSR springs + stock wheels

So I've got the stuff ready to be installed. I'm set on the 20mm H&R's on stock wheels.

I'm hesitant on the springs though. What are your thoughts? Any future issues with my adaptive suspension?

I'd love some input from those more experienced members here please

Thanks

I've heard that you should go with coil overs as other users with springs noticed their shock had to be replaced soon after. I have Swift springs that haven't been installed yet and maybe deciding to go coil overs. KW makes a nice one. Single adjust.

Yeah, only 8 weeks to get them. I looked at FedEx and it still haven't been released from sender. This is one of the worst buying experience. Never buy if it's in back order for more than 4 weeks.

If you care about performance, get coil overs as replacing just the springs will cause premature wear of the shock absorber AND handling issues. If you only care about looks and don’t mind blowing out shocks prematurely and taking a hit on track performance, then replace just the springs.

Where did you buy it from???

Did you verify with Swift if they're an authorized seller?

For the more reputable spring brands, they develop their springs in conjunction with OEM Shocks. They dyno the OEM dampers and develop springs to work in line with the OEM damper travel and compression, so I wouldn't be too concerned. Even with adaptive suspension setups like how Audi uses magnetic fluid to increase stiffness of the dampers, the springs themselves are generally just softer rates than spring upgrades. Plus even with adaptive suspension the springs are still linear springs that don't adjust, its just the dampers adjusting their internal piston or the fluid. You could argue that it would prematurely wear out the OEM Dampers since a harder spring would decrease the amount of suspension travel, but honestly its not by a huge degree.

I've run lowering springs on car from Lexus, Infiniti, BMW and Mercedes and as long as you get a reputable brand and not eBay you are good.

RSR are reputable ? I've never used their products before... I've always used Eibach.

A video I took today prior to installing the spacers.
I have a sneaky feeling that with the RSR springs, the rears will rub once I have passengers in the back.
