Default Tire size question

I ordered Advan GT wheels for the GSF. I’m going for functional use the wheel specs front are 20x9 offset 42 rears are 20x10 offset 35 can I run 265/30/20 in the front? Will that rub in the inner wheel well on a full lock or should I just get 255/30/20? The rears I will get 285/30/20. I will be dropped on Swift Springs. Thanks.

Silva-

I have a similar wheel; Advan AVS F-15 in matte black. My wheels and tires are:
Front = 20x9.5 +40mm offset. Tire is 265/30 ZR 20.
Rear = 20x10 +30mm offset. Tire is 285/30 ZR 20.

You should go for 265 in the front and 285 on the rear as you are thinking. I can assure you it will not rub without springs. Especially with less offset than mine on both ends.
That extra negative offset that you have, from mine, might help you on the rear if you go with springs on the rear. I highly doubt that it will be an issue or one that could not get fixed.

Good luck!

Your car looks great! Are you lowered on springs or coilovers?

No lowering or coilovers on that car Silva. That look is factory (2018 suspension) and what I think is a good use of positive offset on the wheels.

Tars, wow it looks like it’s lowered a bit. I may not lower my car. I think the gap between your wheels and the fender looks good. I’m going for functional use since it is a sedan.

TAR how many fingers between the fenders and the tires?

Sorry man but I'm traveling far from my car and could not check for a few weeks. I remember thinking that it was much less space than I originally anticipated and for me it meant that lowering the car was maybe not needed visually; and defiantly not needed mechanically since I wanted more suspension travel for other reasons.

Keep in mind that the offset and even the style of the wheels that you are thinking about will play a role in how low or wide things will "look". For example, on the back I use a different model tire than on the front. That semi slick competition tire (Sport Cup 2) on the back have a very pronounce and thick edge or shoulder in comparison with the less square Sport 4S on the front. Things like that also plays a small role on the looks side of things.

Found this bad picture, hope it could help. Best guess, about three fingers:
