Default Your thoughts and opinions on the Takeda Intake?

Gentlemen..

Your thoughts on this product please? Worth installing on the GSF?
I know there is no power gain whatsoever.. I'm more curious to know the sound this enclosed cone filter type makes under throttle.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions please. Would be much appreciated.

Designo-

Good quality product, especially the filter element. Significant improvement on sound and looks. There is a very minor power gain (maybe) that I have tried to convince myself that it doesn't exist. But I have to admit is there, as small as it is. It could also be described as having slightly better throttle response than before. All of this is subjective to me of course.

The matting surface between the OEM portion of the air box that have the microphone, and the aFe portion could be done better, but not too bad. The upper clips might need adjustment so they stay in place better and don't come undone with use. I had to adjust (bend) one of them a few times until I got it to stay in place.

Don't get the "wet" filter element (color blue). Get the "dry" filter element (white color, aFe part # TF 9027D). There is no performance difference. The blue one could be clean if you have the time, materials and understanding. The white one is meant to be discarded and replaced. I bought the complete cold air intake assembly and two extra elements.

Definitely can hear it a lot more. A lot of GSF/RCF guys have this and 0 complaints about any issues.. So yes.

Let us know and we can either ship it to you or to your freight forwarder!

This is probably the only intake that will give you any change in sound. Which is why I went with it as well. I also went with the dry filter

Thanks for thread because I was going back and forth about it, it's really the only intake I would get aside from the Tom's but I just can justify that price tag.
