I'm keeping track of your efforts to buy. You are a few months ahead of my purchase timeline. If you're buying used and out of state you may want to consider having a vehicle inspection company check out the car and send you detailed pics and info before traveling a long distance. These services can be around $100 and are worth the extra peace of mind.

I think you're right about the patience thing. The right car for the right price will come along.
Yeah I did some more digging and the ABQ dealer is known for functioning more like a Kia dealer and not Lexus. Thanks for the info on the pre-inspect. Thats a great idea.

Really should have been priced around 75k max to start and it doesn’t even have the rear sun shade or power trunk lid right? It also loses trunk space
I'm sure Lexus had its rationale. Whatever it was, it still exists today because they're still selling the GSF and RCF at inflated prices while dealers can't move them and have to discount heavily to do so. The one year depreciation on the cars is $15K from MSRP which is very high. No way I'd buy a new one for invoice much less MSRP. I agree that $75K should have been the price to start.

Yea but I’ve talked to some dealers that ask more for a “new” older year car with more miles on it than a used newer MY car because title hasn’t been change but that old car has been been abused for that 5k miles on it....it’s stupid and they expect to move it for more than that used 18 with less miles

Wanted to ask someone local to scope out a car in Long Beach/Torrance, but finally got a hold of a motivated salesman and he's been feeding me hi-res pictures of the car. Thanks for chiming in!

Drove another one in NM, found out that you can adjust the feedback/kickback for the mouse so that the cursor doesnt fly off at the slightest touch. I guess with more time I'll be able to dial it to where its not bad to use. Hopefully the one I'm looking at will bite.
