Whenever I pull donuts, the dash lights up like a christmas tree. All with regards to radar system "Collision avoidance fault", etc.
Problem cured by turning car off for 10 min and restarting. Instant on-off won't fix it.
Anyone else notice this issue?

Turn off the pre-collision crap. I have it disabled 100% of the time. It's for people who like to text and drive and does not serve a useful purpose for an attentive driver. Almost wrecked me once when it invoked itself on a close pass with a semi.

what exactly has it done? The only time I’ve noticed it being annoying is when it thinks I’m gonna slam into the car in front of me before I switch lanes at slow speeds but other than that it hasn’t really been intrusive

I made a close pass on a tractor trailer at 85 mph on the Interstate and it slammed on the brakes just as I was clearing the trailer. I mashed the accelerator to the floor to prevent it from getting me hit by the car in the left lane who decided he needed to attempt to block me from passing. It happens at high speed the same as it happens at low speed. I would not leave it on at a track day for anything.

Pre-Collision has saved my bacon about 3 times in the year and a half I’ve been driving this car so, at least for me, it’s earned the right to stick around.

Yep same experience with my IS350. Turned that crap off. Lexus needs to work on the PCS.

I actually find the pre-collision very useful. On track days 100% I will turn it off. On daily I put it in minimal and it never really gets in the way.
Never put it on level 3 tho. Unless you drive like a grandpa
