What should I offer brand new 2017
sticker $88k. Given that it’s going to be 3 model years old in a few month, how much should I offer? Also the GS line will be discountinued, and highly doubt it’s a collectible item...
I will be flying out and driving back, so factor in another 6-800 in cost.
dealer seem desperate to sell, since it’s been sitting and they bought the vehicle already.
For reference, I bought a brand new 2015 RCF in Feb 2016 for 20% off. Shooting over 30% realistic?

Also after reading hundreds of posts of price paid thread, buyers were able to pay 64-66k for a brand new 2016 unit in the late 2016 and beginning of 2017. The GS line is being discountnued next year, and it’s far from a collectible

of course it does. It’s called depreciation. If I pay your $70k price and turn around and sell it back to that dealer the next day, I would be lucky to get mid 50s for it trade in. Btw I’m not pulling numbers out of my a$$. I have access to auctions, and that’s what they are going for.

I bought my 2017 GSF last November for $70k and that included the $8k rebate that they were offering. The part that most people forget to put down is that those prices that they paid included the $10k and $8k rebates. Also, a lot of people were getting additional rebates for attending the track event. So essentially, people were able to combine the manufacturer rebate and the track event rebate to get the GSF in the mid 60's.
I would suggest waiting a couple months for the GSF rebate because I bet that there will be another one. That is when dealers will be more willing to negotiate I bet.

Haha I think you are not getting the answers that you thought you were going to get. Go ahead and offer 70% if you think that is what the car is worth. Worst they can say is no.
My 35k mile 2016 GSF with hail damage history was offered $55,000 for dealer trade-in a couple of weeks ago when I went to look at the LC for reference.
