TARS debating if I should lower the car if not I’m thinking about putting spacers to make it look lower by making it more flush. Will bolt on spacers damage my wheel bearings?

Hmmm, in theory lowering the car might bring more suspension issues to contend with in the long run than using spacers, however I'm not sure that you have any other options... Project Kics make a very high quality hub-centric spacer that you might like, they even make it in 11mm. However, even 11mm might be too much as you are already at +42 and +35 with your new wheels... So I'm pretty sure you will rub if you were to add them. As for bearing damage, with a spacer you always alter the moment and therefore you will increase the load on the bearings and this in turn will decrease the longevity of the bearing. Very difficult to say exactly how much less longevity or how long before you need to replace them, many variables at play here to include how you use the car, etc. It might be less risky, in terms of "rubbing" only, to cautiously go the lowering route with one of the few companies that make springs for the GSF. I've never studied that one in detail so difficult for me to say, but other people here have done it at your approximate wheel offsets and seemed to have worked out.
