I would most certainly pass on that, especially with the accidents on the history. I went to look at one prior to purchasing mine and the second I saw paint work I turned around and walked away. 1 hour travel time to the dealership, in and out in 3mins.

The one thing I would do is tell them to CPO the car if they claim it's a one owner lease trade in; gauge their reaction, make them jump through hoops and ultimately still pass on the car. I hate when these dealerships assume they know everything their is to know.

u should walk too many red flags

car was abused
color is probably a younger buyer
2 accidents

wheels and tires not what you like

go find one that hasn't been in accident that someone owned and took care of
and timing is right for you to step in
be patient

I don't believe a non Lexus dealership can CPO a Lexus vehicle. But definitely a pass.

Indeed. Patience is key, especially at this price point :-)

Then of course I get hit with this...in response to when I initially asked for OEM swap prior to knowing the car history during my initial visit last weekend.

Rick - Sales Manager
David - Initial Car Salesman

Needless to say, I will continue my search for the right vehicle, just wanted to make sure my thought's were correct and the sentiments seemed to be shared with the ClubLexus community.
