Lexus GSF paint thickness
Hi guys need some help from fellow GSF owners regarding the depth of the paint. I am currently looking at a GS and ready to pull the trigger, checked the car with a paint meter and it reads consistently in the 9s ml all around. Usually if a car has not been painted it reads around 4 to 6. But this car does not look painted or has any History of accidents. Can someone please check their car if you can get a paint meter to read it.

If you are using an Elcometer tool, than the reading is too high and it has definitely been painted. I've had my car since new and it consistently reads 5.5-6 with a 311 FNF Elcometer. Run your hands around the door edges, hood edges, and fender edges. If anyone feels rough or edge like a razor, than you have the culprit.
