I stumbled on a muffler company on instagram called #speedymufflers and inquired about a catback exhaust. I was quoted $1200~ for a custom 2.5" dual system with an Xpipe. Connection for axle back and catback with Vband quick release and stainless steel mufflers single inlet and dual outlet. The axle back exhaust on their GSF sounded pretty mean, which is partly the reason why I reached out about the catback.

Question: Do you think this system will create better airflow and thus more power? Or do you think this custom fabrication is too risky considering the other brands available such as Meisterschaft and RR Racing? Cheers!

I love the way the full novel system sounds, I'm sure everyone does. The price of the novel is just ridiculous, for that amount I rather buy another project car and have a really sorted track rat to be completely honest. I just wish armytrix would make a system for the GSF.

Another issue with the Novel exhaust is although it may sound the best, but I doubt it would yield as much hp gain as the ppe header as the header is actually catted and the exhaust looks pretty restrictive too, not a true dual system.

Excellent point, I don't understand why pay all that money and the only benefit you get is a unique sound. It seems like the most restrictive of all the systems available. Akrapovic needs to start showing some love to Lexus already.
