Stock Intake and Airbox
I purchased my vehicle from a dealer out of state (I live in CA), however the person who leased it replaced the stock intake with a Takeda cold air intake (which includes the airbox). Unfortunately, I didn't know that this particular intake is NOT C.A.R.B. certified in CA and I need my car to pass smog check to register for DMV however it fails the visual inspection because of this intake. I cannot get a hold of the original leaser to see if they have the old stock intake/airbox and I'm not sure exactly what parts I need to look for on EBAY to replace this temporarily. What should I do?

EDIT: I'm located in Orange County, California.

While I don't have an answer for you in regards to part numbers - perhaps you could post your location and reach out to a local owner
and borrow theirs for the smog and revert back afterwards. Maybe buy them a few beers for their trouble : )

If the selling "dealer" is a Lexus dealership, they may be responsible for making sure the car was sold correctly with original equipment..
If not, you can try to have the selling dealer cover your costs to obtain the OEM parts needed to pass CA SMOG
