Hey guys,
I'm really interested in buying a used 16-17 GSF, but I have just one question.
How many of you are on the bigger side? I'm 6'2", 260lbs and I don't know if I'll fit comfortably in these seats. I can't find any near me, so I can't even sit in one to check. I'm not gonna drive 100+miles, just to sit in one, if people tell me the seats are too damn bolstered, for a fat guy.
For reference, I sat in a civic type R and it was pretty comfortable. I also test drive a GLA45 AMG, and I couldn't even squeeze myself into that seat.
The for any help.
Sean

I sit fine with no issues. I am 6'3" and 214lbs and I fit fine. These seats are on the sportier side so they have those side bolstering without digging into my obliques. I have sat in this car to pick someone on the airport for a combined 140 mi with no discomfort. The only thing I do have to say is that this car is a bit lower than a regular sedan but not slammed to the ground like other vehicles. So when I get in I kind of semi-drop into the seat (if that makes sense). By the way, I don't have issues with head clearance

I am 6'4 205. No problems getting in or out. Seat is lower than you may be expecting. Drove to NYC from DC and back in a day with no aches!

I'm 6' 2" and have varied between 195 and 236 pounds since we bought the GS F. Gladly I'm now on the lower end of that range, but even at 236 the bolsters weren't too intrusive. I have driven the car almost 900 miles in a day a few times and the seats have been fine, if a little harder than the IS F seats (I do actually prefer the IS F seats, but it's because the bolsters feel more supportive in it to me).

6’4” and 200 lbs is NOT 6’2 and 260. So not a fair comparison. I would highly recommend driving 140 miles to sit in one. Seriously I would. I am 6’5” and 280 and am very comfortable when driving the ISF which has somewhat aggressive seats but not quite as bolstered as the GSF. To be frank I bet you would be fine but really need to try to know. We all carry our weight differently and in different places and opinions here will not help much as another chap who is same height and weight may be a different shape altogether. Dealing with human anatomy is what I do daily. You will only know by trying. If you don’t like the seats you can replace them with Regular GS seats as they will plug and play.
