Default Looking for my 1st GS-F

Just joined the forum and I look forward to hanging around a while...

I am currently looking for my first GS-F. 2016-2018 and I certainly want the V8. Did they make the V8 in 2016 as well? It seems that they are kind of rare? I see so many of the V6 models but not a lot of the V8s for sale.

i am also one of the people that really dislikes the front grill. The 2015 bumper looks so much better as far as I am concerned. Does anyone know if it is possible to put a 2015 bumper on a 2016+?

I appreciate all the help I can get from you all!

The GSF has always had a V8.

The GS350 has the option for a V6.

You could attempt a grill swap, but the cost and time might not be worth it. More efficient to just buy the 2015 car.

If you don’t like the Lexus grill, then I would reconsider purchasing a Lexus.

2016 is the first year of the GSF. If you like the 2015 bumper that's most likely a GS350 Fsport bumper and it probably won't fit the GSF. The GSF's bumper is very functional and provides cooling to the engine and transmission cooler.

For a number of reasons, some of which are because of the V8, the GS F carries a heavy premium over both the regular GS and GS F-Sport - new or used. It's a premium across the board - from the acquisition cost, to gas, maintenance (not repair), and insurance.

The "F" is a fairly rare, last of a breed (rear wheel drive, naturally aspirated, high-performance, sedan) driver's car - if you value that sort of thing. If not, your choice will be easy.

Good luck and enjoy reading up on the "F" - there are more than a few articles extolling its virtues and some that question its value.

It's a great machine.
