Default GS-F 'Braking Power Low'

Trying to start the GS-F - no joy. Been sat idle for a long time and the battery is dead.

Boosting from portable pack, the car has electrical juice, but if you attempt to start it, it reports 'Braking power low' and won't turn over.

My suspicion is that the electronics don't think the brake is depressed enough or it's just because the battery is a goner.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Normally warning message is due to low/dead battery. Bring it to the dealership there is a fix!!

As an update (as this may help other people), a brand new battery was fitted today. Made no difference. Car will now have to be recovered back to Lexus.

that is so weird. how long did it sit?
did you have a battery tender on it?
in garage or outside?
hopefully no rats ate any wiring.
i had that happen to a fellow gsf owner.

So..... long story, but car isn't mind. I'm just providing a home for it as the owner is unwell.

Probably not started for a few months. Garaged. No trickle charger used.

Apparently, it's down to some sensor linked to the braking system.
